About the Author: Atlanta, GA, United States; George Jacobs is a retired Federal employee who worked for the Social Security Administration and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for over 30 years. Since retiring he has volunteered as a Medicare beneficiary counselor. He sits on the boards of two companies which perform services under Federal contracts for the Medicare Program. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA and is a volunteer counselor for Medicare.
